The Social Media Manager (Partnerships) will be the first point of contact when leveraging Three’s partnership/sponsorships on across social media, including our own channels (FB, Insta, Tik Tok, Twitter) and working with influencers and talent.

The Social Media Manager (Partnerships) will be the first point of contact when leveraging Three’s partnership/sponsorships on across social media, including our own channels (FB, Insta, Tik Tok, Twitter) and working with influencers and talent. 

They will be responsible for creating a programme of activations and content that truly makes a partnership go further than a ‘logo sticking exercise’. In the progress they’ll clearly define KPIs and work within a matrix team structure – building on Three’s ambition to become the most loved brand in the UK as well as showcasing the superiority of Three’s 5G offering. 

The role will be responsible for content conception, creation and execution.
The role reports directly into the head of PR and social media, but with work hand in hand with inhouse social media studio (Studio Three) with the objective of creating disruptive, innovative and timely content across relevant social media platforms. They’ll also form part of a virtual sponsorship team which spans across marketing disciplines.

The role will drive an “always on” approach to Three’s participation in social media space – working across Three’s partners including the recent announcement of the Chelsea shirt sponsorship. This will include leverage all aspects of the contractual agreement from working with players to the stadium and training ground access.

The role will need to push innovation in social, ensuring that Three resonates on social with our key target audiences. They will be responsible for wrap up reports and evaluations relating to partnership social activity.

• Social Media Lead for Three’s partnerships including Chelsea FC
• Understanding partnership agreements and maximising opportunities that they present
• Owner of social media strategy and content execution for all Three partnerships – laddering up to overall business objectives and echoing social media strategy
• Management for social partnerships budget that sits within PR and Social Media Team – for every execution creating outlining KPIs and ROI
• Contribute to the Studio Three ‘always on’ content calendar ensuring that our content is always grounded in audience insight and has the customer front and centre of all outputs
• Influencer/talent planning for partnerships – identify, securing and delivering against influencer strategy
• Use paid social to help amplify content, where appropriate, understanding your target audiences and the role of the content your produce and their KPIs
• Support on community management duties where required including scheduling of posts and managing daily conversation taking place on Three`s social media channel
• Monitor the performance of content and campaigns, making any necessary adjustments during the campaign to drive success

• Expert in always on / newsroom social media creative production; gained from working either at a major brand/publisher/agency
• Planning experience – being to take a partnership (such as Chelsea FC) and map out a full content calendar that compliments the ‘always on’ social programming and fully leveraging all angles of a partnership (beyond the team’s fans)
• Knowledge and experience of different ad products, their formats and specifications
• Experience of driving social media campaigns either in-house or agency
• Ability to develop social strategy and comfortable recommending and presenting to senior management
• Excellent standard of written and spoken English. The candidate will need to be a wordsmith, but also be able to think visually and across platforms
• An expert at Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Insta, Tik Tok and Twitter (a ‘strong interest’ won’t cut it) and have a good understanding of how to utilise these platforms for brands
• Hands on experience of managing social media platforms and blogger relationships
• Experience of leveraging sponsorships for social media – with an understanding of commercial KPIs and delivery of ROI
• Experience of working with influencers and talent
• A content creator - working knowledge of Sprinklr, Radian 6 and Crimson Hexagon as well as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects and Adobe Premiere suite or other design, editing, creative programmes
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation
• Understand how to protect and promote a brand via social media
• A self-starter and team player
