We’re looking for a Brand Activation Manager who is responsible for bringing Three’s sponsorship of Chelsea FC to prospects and customers alike - through game changing brand activations, driving awareness of Three first hand, face to face.
This opportunity sits within the newly created Brand Activation and Sponsorship team and reports into the Head of Brand Activation and Sponsorship, but also forms part of a virtual sponsorship team which spans across marketing disciplines to deliver the 3 year partnership with Chelsea FC.
The role will focus on using the Chelsea FC partnership to bring alive the spirit of the Three brand powered by 5G and be responsible for defining and leading event and immersive experience strategy and maximising our partnership rights.
o Using the Chelsea FC partnership to bring alive the spirit of the Three brand powered by 5G.
o Defining and leading event and immersive experience strategy and delivering our partnership rights.
o Driving word of mouth for Three and Chelsea FC using experiential ideas and activations, ensuring all activations are amplified through social media and PR.
o Managing key stakeholders at both Three and at Chelsea FC.
o Supporting the management of key stakeholders at both Three and at Chelsea FC.
o Supporting the planning and executing world class events and experiences.
o Execution of Brand Activation activity through the appropriate channels in a consistent and efficient manner in order to achieve the Marketing team outcomes.
o Working with the wider Marketing department and our partners to champion our aspiration for best-in-class brand activation experiences.
o Developing brand activation ideas to generate social ‘chatter’.
o Developing a deep understanding of the Chelsea FC sponsorship, its limitations and the assets available.
o Managing the output of the appointed creative/brand experience agency.
o Previous brand experience, activation or sponsorship at a junior - mid manager level.
o Previous experience of activating a high profile sporting sponsorship.
o Sports agency, brand or rights holder background.
o Strong knowledge and passion for football.
o Committed to creating & delivering innovative ideas and experiences.
o Excellent communication skills to support and manage internal and external stakeholders.
o A solid understanding of experiential marketing and brand experience across the industry including insights, measurement and best practice.
o Experience in delivering complex event production and event logistics.
o Aware of best practice on all forms of experience activation e.g. event production, builds, mechanics, ticketing, social amplification.
o Agency and third-party supplier management.
o Ability to prioritise and organise varied work schedule.
o Budget management and cost negotiations.
