In order to provide support and stability to our new technology, we need to stand up our security towers within the Service Ops & Assurance COE, to ensure a safe, secure and effective operation, whist consulting with the business on all aspects of security.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our new operating model, supporting with the setting up and maturing of our new centre of excellence. We have never had this type of focus on Operations before, and this role is a real opportunity to help bring to life how operations can drive the value directly back to Three, with involvement in the process from the start.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Business Continuity Consultant in developing and maintaining a framework of processes, planning and testing to ensure that Three UK remains resilient and able to safeguard its people and operations in the event of significant disruption. The incumbent is responsible for support in delivering key business continuity activities for the overall definition of management processes, assessment of criticality and collection of documentation required to implement, monitor, review, maintain and improve business continuity planning across the Three UK business.
Ensure each function in Three within their remit is compliant with the overall Business Continuity programme
Facilitate business continuity requirements (e.g. planning tests, conducting simulation exercise etc.)
Primary interface to the business from Business Continuity perspective, also assist and maintain relationships with Business Continuity Coordinators and other key stakeholders within business
Assess and review the recovery strategies of the business for compliance and appropriate risk treatment
Develop and maintain specific one-off plans to meet regulatory and Pandemic requirements
Develop and maintain plan documentation, BIA documentation and associated maintenance via BC tool (if available)
Optimise plans to maximise efficiency of maintenance
Manage plans and associated data on Microsoft Teams / BCM Tool
Hold regular liaison and co-ordination meetings on 1-to-1 basis to ensure understanding of the Programme
Perform Peer Reviews to ensure Business Continuity Plan quality is acceptable Assist with plan testing to prove capability and prepare reports post-test completion
Prepare and deliver training and awareness materials
Provide recovery support at time of disaster
Previous business continuity experience
Experienced in coordinating with cross function/department, projects and teams
Team collaboration spirit, but also strong ability to work as a single driver and contributor
Structured and outcome-oriented
Strong communication skills
Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a “thinker”)
+3 years of experience as a Business Continuity Analyst in a large organisation/global environment
Prior Telecommunication experience will be beneficial
Experience with BCM (business continuity management) and DR (Disaster Recovery) processes would be an asset
