Here at Three we have a fantastic opportunity for a Commissions Analyst to join our Commissions team – a fast-paced team with key relationships with external trading partners and where accuracy and delivery against tight timescales are crucial.

We are a team of 6 within Finance Operations responsible for the calculation and payment of commissions to indirect trading partners, who sell Three SIMs and handsets from their own independent stores. Payments are currently around £2.5m each month across 30 different partners – so you will be working closely both within the team and with stakeholders around the business to ensure that these payments are made correctly. We also resolve any queries raised relating to commissions, and you will be collaborating with colleagues across Partner Management, Commercial Finance, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to do this.



We are looking for a proactive and capable individual with the appetite to identify potential for process improvements, and with great attention to detail.

Confidence in dealing with large volumes of data in Excel and SQL is key, and the position may appeal to individuals with a strong technical background but who want to gain exposure to the commercial side of the business.

Within this role, reporting to the Senior Manager – Commissions, you’ll be working as a key part of a team undergoing significant change and with opportunity to work closely with the people responsible for developing and maintaining relationships that are critical to realising the company’s growth targets.


  • Commissions experience
  • Works within FinOps and with Commercial teams to identify incremental opportunities to clawback commission payments, and presents these opportunities to LCRA and other key stakeholders
  • Utilises existing data, and explores additional tools and sources (such as SAS or Microstrategy) to create relevant, lucid and effective reports
  • Able to create and troubleshoot intermediate-level SQL scripts and packages
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Data manipulation skills - can hold your own with a spreadsheet
  • Great communication skills - can talk through technical issues in a clear way
  • Collaborative - can talk to dealers and internal stakeholders in a collaborative way
