You will lead the Digital Innovation team to be self-sufficient, highly optimised from a cost perspective, efficient in its ability to move faster than the rest of the organisation and stay one step of the curve of both our competitors and substitutes in building a profit centre built on the latest trends in Digital Technology.

You will act as a leader within the new Commercial Organisation and play the part in developing a winning commercial organisation that delivers our company objectives and sustained performance.


Reporting into the Director of Digital, you will lead the Digital Innovation team to be self-sufficient, highly optimised from a cost perspective, efficient in its ability to move faster than the rest of the organisation and stay one step of the curve of both our competitors and substitutes in building a profit centre built on the latest trends in Digital Technology.

You will act as a leader within the new Commercial Organisation and play the part in developing a winning commercial organisation that delivers our company objectives and sustained performance.

  • Constantly evaluating competitors on the market to identify digital trends that can be a point of differentiation for us
  • Working across the full Digital team to design, implement and continuously improve towards best in class performance
  • Continuously evaluating team performance and productivity, using the productivity dashboard as the bases for any improvements that can be made
  • Ensuring the appropriate deployment of consistent practices and standards across our operation
  • Ensuring we take a collaborative and “one team” approach to key stakeholders including Tech & Ops, Business, Commercial and People and Property
  • Accountable for managing relationships with relevant external suppliers, and support partners building strong relationships to facilitate the design and development of new solutions
  • Owns the holistic view of the Strategy for online in liaison with the DX Lead & Channel Owner
  • Works closely with the Transformation Lead to ensure operationalisation of the requirements from different projects
  • Lead the team to exceptional performance, and the recruitment of candidates to achieve as such, taking an active interest in the continued growth, training, and development of people
  • Ensures standardisation of approach across Digital, takes responsibility for documentation both within and outside of digital, and ensures we are exceeding the expectations of our stakeholders
  • OPEX and CAPEX monitoring for the team
  • Digital representation for all BAU
  • Resource allocation and prioritisation in line with key business projects and priorities to maximise output

  • Exceptional interpersonal, networking, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills are essential with evidence of a proactive approach and creditable outcomes
  • Ability to demonstrate a drive for results within a pressurised environment to strict timelines.
  • Appreciation of the customer, their needs and how to meet them
  • Strong Commercial Acumen
  • An experienced People Leader able to galvanise others behind a vision, set clear direction, build, develop, and motivate a high performing team
