The PR Manager (Partnerships) will be the first point of contact when leveraging Three’s partnership/sponsorships to journalists and opinion formers (i.e. bloggers and influencers). However, they’ll also form part of the wider PR and Social Media team, showcasing their PR prowess across the business including the latest props, handsets and offerings from Three.

However, they’ll also form part of the wider PR and Social Media team, showcasing their PR prowess across the business including the latest props, handsets and offerings from Three.
They will be responsible for creating a press office and campaign programme that truly makes a partnership go further than a ‘logo sticking exercise’. In the progress they’ll clearly define KPIs, delivering ROI working within a matrix team structure – building on Three’s ambition to become the most loved brand in the UK as well as showcasing the superiority of Three’s 5G offering.

The role reports directly into the head of PR and social media, but also form part of a virtual sponsorship team which spans across marketing disciplines.
The candidate will understand how to promote and protect the reputation of Three to external audiences. They’ll be an expert in crisis communications, being on the front foot of any reputational issue that could arise from partners or third parties.

The successful candidate will need to have all the ‘beautiful basics’ of PR including; crafting press materials, devising PR campaigns, working on integrated campaigns where PR will be a key element, creating KPIs and delivering on ROI. They’re get under the skin of our target audience, knowing how they digest and consumer media in the UK. They’ll be responsible for wrap up reports and evaluations.

• Monitor the performance of the press office and campaigns, making any necessary adjustments during the campaign to drive success

• Being part of the PR and social media team that creates the PR plan for Three UK
• Lead on partnership PR planning, creation and delivery
• Monitoring and reporting
• Crisis communication PR lead
• Budget management
• A creator and wordsmith – responsible for comms about Three’s partnership activities
• Setting and identifying consumer media that Three UK should be engaging with
• Daily media relations and agency management

• A seasoned PR Professional with experience working on consumer facing brands in agency and inhouse
• Experience of delivering consumer campaigns with knowledge across other comms disciplines (internal comms and corporate comms)
• Experience of brand protection and crisis communications and getting their hands dirty (handing media directly)
• Experience of PR planning which combines an ‘always on’ press office and spikes of campaigns.
• Ability to deliver successful integrated PR campaigns with KPIs that clearly demonstrate ROI to the business.
• An expert in the UK media landscape – knowing what’s hot and what’s not for our audience
• An understanding of social media and how PR and social media can work hand-in-hand
• Planning experience – being able to take a partnership (such as Chelsea FC) and map out a full PR programme that compliments the wider Three PR plan – fully leveraging all angles of a partnership (beyond the team’s fans)
• Experience of leveraging sponsorships through PR – with an understanding of commercial KPIs and delivery of ROI
• Experience of working with influencers and talent
• An excellent communicator, from presentations to press releases
• A self-starter and team player – this isn’t a 9-5 job.
• Ability for form internal networks - navigating internal teams such as legal and brand to make work bullet proof!
• Budget and agency management
• Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders including board members
• Someone who is at the top of their game and loves communications.
