This role reports to the Head of Legal: Marketing, Media & Digital Products and the team is responsible for the provision of legal support to the Digital, Marketing and Trading functions and deal with all matters arising from those areas.  


You will be expected to  work independently (including on complex projects) with little or no supervision. You will have the ability to view situations from a commercial or wider business perspective (analysing risks and opportunities) and deliver the best possible outcomes for Three in a timely manner.  You will be expected to present to and influence senior leadership.  And it’ll be fun!

If you’re a talented, personable and versatile and experienced technology lawyer then we’d like to hear from you. We are looking for a high calibre individual with broad experience of licensing of digital platforms, advising on big data and bringing new B2C and B2B products to market, negotiating technology contracts where data protection and intellectual property ownership and/or licensing are key. Experience of payments, ad-tech and telecoms also helpful, but not essential.

You won’t just be advising on risks, you’ll be rolling your sleeves up and figuring out how to manage them in the real world. Based in our offices in Maidenhead (right by the station, 35 minutes from Paddington) you’ll also be meeting with digital and marketing agencies in London and our Group head office in Battersea.


You’ll be part of a broader team of legal, procurement, government affairs, corporate communications and economist professionals dealing with topical issues such as Net Neutrality and the future of the Internet, customer remedies, new network technology and intermediary liability. These are key strategic roles driving our digital business and would suit experienced city lawyers with at least 5 years post qualified experience seeking a fresh challenge in a fast-growing yet financially stable technology company.
