Working in the Sales Enablement and Business Operations function you will focus on defining how everything works, making sure our sales and customer service channels are fully enabled and can win the market, and that we are renowned for being easy to do business with. This is a Hybrid working opportunity where you will operate from Home and our Reading office or Home and our Glasgow Offices dependent upon your location with a balance of home and office based working.

You will be a change agent and will utilise your toolkit of BA skills to assure effective definition, design and delivery of a broad range of improvement/optimisation initiatives in the Business function. You will leverage you experience and expertise to shape a successful approach to the initiation, scoping, testing and execution of behavioural and capability change, process re-engineering and the design and business readiness of new products and technical lead-to-cash solutions.

You will work collaboratively with internal customers, external partners and third-party partners to elicit and document the functional requirements and testing approach that facilitate the design of brilliant business solutions, managing the requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle into the live environment. You will act as the voice/representative of the Business team on major cross-functional transformation programmes

  • Create, socialise and manage a new, effective approach to business requirements capture and documentation which enables the production of requirements specifications to time, cost and quality.
  • Undertake Business Process Mapping and Gap Analysis of as-is ways of working across Retail, Telesales, Online, Indirect, Direct and Service/Care
  • Provide clarity and traceability to business requirements throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring deviations and impacts are translated back to the business and managed accordingly.
  • Define tactical and strategic solutions with respective stakeholders (Technology, Sales Enablement, Business Operations, GTM, Care, Sales Academy/L&D et al) through to prioritised delivery and adoption, in order to improve Business unit performance and the customer experience.
  • Work closely with Propositions, Marketing and Service/Care to ensure that 3 UK’s products and services are designed to deliver against a brilliant customer experience, are built to be sold, the route to market is efficient and error free and the hand off from sales to service is seamless
  • Create and embed a dynamic but comprehensive approach to testing in order to assure the quality of any solution and its alignment to stakeholder requirement
  • Identify and curate opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of Business colleagues, the performance of the sales channels, and the experience of our customers across the entire lifecycle.
  • Monitor ongoing performance and operational health
  • Represent Business on major change/transformation initiatives
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Sales Enablement colleagues to understand the art of the possible with regard to journey automation and digitisation, where Service/Care improvements and journeys can be optimised and where behaviour or capability improvements are required
  • Evolve and mature our operational ways of working over term, from manual intervention and swivel chair exercises through to full industrialisation
  • Prepare and deliver updates on plans and performance to various levels of business and Three senior management, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged to an appropriate degree.
  • Support Three senior leadership in achieving strategic goals and monitor progress through the use of appropriate metrics

Minimum education and practical experience required for this position include:

  • Proven track record as a BA with enterprise-level business process re-engineering and lead to cash transformation, go-to-market, change management and testing experience
  • Demonstrable experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements and processes, with outstanding communication and commercial acumen skills and ideally accreditation in a core project management methodology.
  • Experience in partnering with design teams, technical teams, test teams and business owners to identify solutions and resolutions to problems.
  • Significant knowledge of analyst frameworks, business process methodologies and requirements elicitation techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question and re-frame requirements.
  • Cost-benefit analysis experience and business casing creation/evaluation
  • In depth understanding of agile delivery methodologies
