  • The purpose of the role is to manage commercial negotiations with key vendor partners, driving the best deals and offers for Three, while developing key partnerships and acting as the champion for vendors within the business.
  • You will be part of the commercial vendor team and will manage select vendors to drive effective product launches and lifecycle management of multiple devices across a range of segments and vendors.
  • Support the Senior Commercial Manager with the Group Central Procurement Process to maximise the commercial negotiations and strategy at group level.
  • Assume responsibility for the operational relationship with hardware vendors and work closely with the devices team to bring compelling products for our existing and future customers to market in an innovative way which supports our Three behaviours and initiatives.
  • Ensuring full support of broad range of internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the device, including but not limited to: supporting sales via marketing across all channels, managing and resolving operational issues, enabling products and services onto devices and support a strong GTM execution.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Three’s customer segmentation, strategies, key tariffs and manage pricing. Build a thorough awareness of competitive marketplace for both networks and retailers.
  • Have in depth knowledge of vendor strategies and their company plans. Ensure internal stakeholders understand what your vendors want to achieve within the market and within Three.
  • Responsible for the effective overall launch of relevant devices across all Three’s sales channels, including supporting relevant marketing and developing collaboration plans.
  • Responsibility to ensure the execution of each hardware is monitored and communicated. All channels execute via the trading brief the vendor specialist ensures this execution is in line with both the vendors & business expectations.

  • Vendor management and commercial negotiations to maximise vendor funding for Three, achieving the company budget.
  • Developing vendor relationships, including the creation and execution of vendor strategies. Including collaborative plans to grow funding opportunities.
  • Effective launches of vendor devices bringing differentiation to Three and our customer base with exclusive opportunities, especially with flagship launches.
  • Management of key internal stakeholders to build opportunities for vendors and Three, focusing on pricing, propositions, sales, trading, Go To Market, marketing, procurement and legal.
  • Supporting the Group CK IOD strategy session as a key member of that team supporting group initiatives and maximising opportunities for Three.

  • Technical, business or marketing degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven vendor relationship management & skills.
  • Demonstrate market delivery of mobile device products (or other consumer electronic products)
  • Consistent proven ability to identify and adopt rational solutions and evaluations to highly emotive issues.
  • Excellent relationship building skills at all levels in the organisation.
  • Commercial awareness - the ability to quickly determine the commercial significance and impact.
  • Self-starter.
