The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of the digital marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition via direct response channels.

This role will also support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager with developing, reporting, and measuring of the DR (Direct Response) campaigns.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work very closely with both agencies and internal departments such as legal, digital, marketing, comms, and trading to create business cases to further improve traffic, orders, and gross ads.

You will identify trends and insights and optimise spend and performance based on the insights weekly and monthly.

You will be attending and contributing to weekly meetings in which trading, customer comms, finance, digital, and marketing teams will brainstorm growth strategies to drive growth via and SMARTY App.

  • Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of the digital marketing campaigns (Paid social, PPC, Display and SEO) that drive customer acquisition and growth at agreed CPA targets. 

  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points 

  • Influence conversion points and optimise user funnels by working closely with the Digital team 

  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners 

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs and CPAs) 

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights 

  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies to drive incremental growth 

  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and tests 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience 

  • Proven experience working as a senior digital marketing executive or similar role for a large team or department within a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent administrative skills with the ability to introduce, implement and manage procedures.

  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 applications, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

  • Excellent time management and self-organisation skills with the ability to work effectively to tight timescales and under pressure situations.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage others.

  • Professional with a proactive, self-motivated, reliable and flexible personality and a willingness to keep learning and developing.
