  • To receive and manage requests from law enforcement agencies, public authorities, solicitors and customers for the disclosure of traffic, billing and account related data, and to provide data in accordance with applicable laws and operational policies.
  • To support a 24x7x365 shift operation for Immediate life at risk LEAs, serious organized crime and national security related requests requiring the disclosure of data, live call traces and the lawful interception of communications all within tightly defined SLAs.
  • Ensure that the highest standards of confidentiality and operational security are maintained at all times, and, in all environments. All IDU employees must be willing to be cleared to a minimum of SC level.
  • To prepare material for witness statements as necessary and to provide evidence in a Court of Law, anywhere within the UK when required.
  • To ensure that 3 delivers a consistent and professional service to HMG, Law Enforcement Agencies and other authorized public authorities.
  • Manage complaints of Malicious Communications liaising with Three’s contact center, customers and the Police where appropriate and necessary
  • First line technical system support and problem solving
  • To manage requests for data and services in a cost effective, timely and accurate manner and to company policies and procedures
  • To gain and maintain a thorough awareness and knowledge of applicable systems necessary for the ensuring the retrieval and disclosure of data and the provision of special services
  • To maintain awareness and knowledge of Three’s products and services and consider impact of these on the IDU’s operational efficiency
  • To assist in the investigation and prosecution of reports of illegal content on 3’s network
  • To develop and maintain a good understanding of applicable legislation
  • To support all team members and the Data Protection team
  • To support the business at all times
  • To log activities and maintain accurate records to enable full audit trails of information disclosures and the measurement of operational effectiveness
  • During the night shift employees will be the single point of contact for the whole of law enforcement in the UK and will be required make autonomous decisions in order to provide accurate and timely information for immediate life at risk Grade 1 requests, serious organized crime and national security related requests requiring the disclosure of data, live call traces and the lawful interception of communications all within tightly defined SLAs.
  • Employees will be expected to manage their own workload consisting of requests received from law enforcement agencies, public authorities, solicitors and customers for the disclosure of traffic, billing and account related data, and to be able provide data in accordance with applicable laws and operational policies.
  • Security is key in this department and employees will be expected to be cleared to SC level and maintain the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times also not to impart any information unless on a need to know basis.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the Investigatory Powers Act, Data Protection issues and individual rights under GDPR legislation, Human Rights Act and Manual of Standard
  • Experience of liaising with Law Enforcement and other telecommunication companies in the same sectors
  • Good working Knowledge of Mobile telecommunications
  • Excellent data processing, problem solving and data analytics skills
  • Excellent knowledge of and demonstrable competence in the use of MS Word, EXCEL, Outlook,
  • Education to A level (equivalent or above) with the ability to communicate confidently and positively
  • Excellent level of numeracy and literacy and ability to maintain highest levels of accuracy
