  • Define and agree the scope and structure of our policies, processes, tools and systems
  • Work cross functionally to lead the design development and implementation of new or changes to existing processes, policies, tools and systems across the following areas:
    • Purchase to Pay
    • Sourcing
    • Category management
    • Contract/relationship management
    • Procurement departmental reporting, data & insight
  • Navigate our sign-off procedures to agree policies and processes, producing business cases and documentation for circulation to senior management where required
  • Implement and communicate processes and policies through our intranet site, email, workshops and other methods
  • Regularly review to ensure that Procurement policies, processes, tools and systems provide the optimum mix of efficiency and market best practice
  • Document our processes and policies in accordance with our internal standards

  • Previous experience working in/with a procurement function either in-house or as a consultant
  • Business process modelling including related tools and techniques, including the use of AI and process automation technologies
  • Able to demonstrate times when you have both redefined mature processes, defined process and policies from scratch, and implemented changes maximising their impact and uptake amongst the end user community
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate an understanding of issues that drive procurement processes and policies
  • A natural communicator in all forms of communication
  • The skill and ability to thrive in a large matrix managed company where change and ambiguity are constant
