• Senior member of team accountable for the OSS architecture, solutions and evolution (end to end) to underpin the requirements of technology and business strategy.

• Defining and maintaining the architecture and domain roadmap to underpin the delivery of technology & business strategies and associated outcomes.

• Primary interface into OSS Strategy & Architecture domain, facilitating the execution of strategic initiatives from concept to delivery.

• Capturing BAU demand from across Technology domains (CNO, CIO, Operations), solutioning and transitioning into delivery.

• Delivering customer and business benefits to agreed targets, within approved budgets and ensuring availability of services to our customers.

• Ensuring resource/capability, mobilising delivery of new contracts/initiatives and leading direct and virtual multi-disciplined teams.

• Implement required governance and frameworks, across ‘As Is’ & ‘To Be’ Architecture, Delivery, Life Cycle, Evolution of OSS Eco-System

• Manage a range of senior stakeholders and internal/external communications.

• Liaising with industry, other MNOs and supporting regulatory compliancy.

• Responsible for leading a team of solution architects to define solution architecture, roadmaps and maintaining robust documentation.

• Provide solution architecture development plans in conjunction with implementation feasibility from technology and resource perspectives.

• Technical leadership to the System Integration domain teams in governing the solution architecture and ensuring solution design meets the business outcomes.

• Producing end to end capacity and technology plans and interlocking such plans with other domains and partners.

• Maintaining and documenting full lifecycle (design, build, test, deliver, run & maintain and sunset) of OSS eco-system.

• Support translation of OSS Strategy into tangible solutions through RFx processes

• Support Technology directorate RFx inputs for OSS Delivery

• Managing a range of senior stakeholders and internal/external communications.

• Support the annual planning of budgets and management of.

• Responsible for delivering solutions to support our network evolution targets, ensuring customer and business benefits are realised.

• Lead the Programme planning, risk and issue management.

• Demonstrable experience in leading a team technical team which define and govern solution architecture.

• Accomplished in aligning team objectives and executing deliveries in a large scale virtual team environments.

• Strong commercial acumen, able to manage multi million pound budgets, supplier relationship as well develop and critique commercial decisions.

• Strong partner management experience, and demonstratable evidence of creating value and/or business benefits.

• Strong understanding of OSS and IT technology and business trends and how they can be applied to mobile networks to deliver value

• Credible and effective communicator and influencer, able to work with stakeholder to agree, prioritise and drive forward a wide range of requirements.

• Proven evidence of excellent stakeholder management and building relationships to senior management levels.

• Demonstrate track record of delivering complex technology transformation programmes in a multi-partner environment.

• Knowledge of the applicable regulations and the experience of implementing industry best practices.

Domain Specific Skills:

• Good understanding of the mobile network architecture.

• Good understanding of Big Data eco-systems, cloud hosting and virtualisation.

• In depth understanding of OSS domain architecture and principles.
