Gender

By 2030, we’re focused on increasing the number of people who identify as female, non-binary, and gender fluid in leadership roles from 32% to 50%. And we’re proud to have been listed in The Times Top 50 employers for gender equality in 2023.

Working closely with our Women at Three network, we’re shaping policies and support to address gender inequalities in the workplace. This ranges from flexible working and menopause, to family leave, benefits, and progression at work.

We’ve worked closely with Ofcom and other telcos to form a Gender Equality pledge to ensure that we have clear intentions and a roadmap for the industry to tackle imbalances going forward.

Our 2023 Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap Report has been released. You can read and download the published report in full here

Disability

We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer and are taking tangible steps to enhance our processes for attracting, recruiting, and developing individuals with disabilities or accessibility needs. This involves close collaboration with our employee-led Accessibility Network, learning from those with lived experiences, and reflecting on our past practices to ensure accessibility is at the core of our ways of working.

We’re proud to be Deaf Aware and have rolled out Sign Language modules and neurodiversity awareness sessions for all our employees,  and we are committed to drive change.

Ethnicity

We thrive on different perspectives and know how important it is to represent the diversity of our customers, be it through race, religion or ethnicity. We celebrate and raise awareness of our cultural heritages at Three and we’re clear on the steps we need to take to further racial equality within the workplace.

We have committed to voluntarily sharing our Ethnicity Pay Gap Action Plan since 2022 and are actively supporting our employee-led Ethnic and Cultural Diversity Network in educating our teams further. We’re signatories of the Race at Work charter with our partners at Business in the Community, helping us raise the bar across the industry.

Diversity At Three

We have also changed our policy to achieve equity in hiring, pay and progression. Managers and hiring managers receive training to prevent unconscious bias, and we have a company-wide ‘zero tolerance’ policy on discrimination of any kind.
