Company Description

  • Lead the delivery and execution of Readiness plans against Releases or Projects for Channels & Functions (Business Units). 
  • Leading cross-functional Business Units collaboratively to define and execute Business Readiness Plans against a Programme/Project of work
  • Lead Readiness Plans that delivers minimum disruption people, Business Unit Operations and Customers
  • Being able to competently challenge effectively and with purpose to ensure the right outcome is achieved
  • Work hand in hand with the Delivery team, to ensure aligned Project & Readiness Plans for all Release & Projects.
  • The individual will be accountable and empowered to make strategic and bold decisions and provide escalations for resolution where required.
  • Evidence of strong leadership and people skills, with experience of managing diverse teams and an
  • ability to motivate, inspire and guide others to deliver in an uncertain and fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Lead and drive the Business Readiness Plans for Channels & Functions against Releases or Projects (this includes evolving necessary Impact Assessments)
  • Lead cross-functional Business Readiness & Engagement with Business Owners, Key SMEs and Technical Leads.
  • Drive input and decision making into gating milestones for Releases & Projects.
  • Accountable for ensuring Readiness Plans are in place to protect the Channel & Functions
  • Supporting and managing any escalations, risks, issues that require resolution
  • Lead and drive the launch strategy for Channels & Functions against Releases or Projects. Driving force behind launch execution.
  • Own engagement with Business Outcome Owners (to sit within the destination business function
  • Drive a culture of continual improvement across all portfolios, technical and business
  • Ensuring Readiness services are interlocking appropriately against the Readiness Plan effectively and timely. 

Qualifications

  • Adaptive environment - The complexity of the delivery roadmap means that the bigger picture is not always available. Dates are likely to move and you will be comfortable working in this environment
  • Planning and Organisational skills - The role will require you to be supporting several different initiatives at any one time. Working at pace is also critical for this role, ability to utilise timeline & project management skills.
  • Communication - Acts with expertise using clear and effective communications skills with the ability to simplify complex business issues.  Communicates strategy and plans in an inspired way.
  • Negotiation - Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to negotiate independently and influence stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Senior Management - Acts as a key member of organisations leadership community, role models company behaviours and contributes to the achievement of Three’s wider Business Strategy and Transformation objective.
  • Self -starter who demonstrates energy, enthusiasm, bring a positive can-do approach to challenges.
  • Accountable for making sure that the Business is ready for change delivered by Programmes & Projects. This includes identifying and executing any people, process & technology change required by the Business. 
  • The role leads the Business Readiness plan against a Release or Project of Work. The role will require conducting regular assessments, developing readiness plans and change interventions either directly or through brokering the required people from the business.

Salary range for this role start's at £53,760, and exact salary will differ by job and experience

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
