We're looking for an exceptional and innovative leader with a growth mindset to join us on our unique journey of building a Three Business unit, with the backing of a hugely successful business.

In this role you will develop, lead and manage a team of Business Sales Team Leaders & Sales Executives, managing and supporting the Business Sales strategy and performance through both Voice and Digital channels.

You will ensure the sales targets are met, manage sales pipeline, leads generation, smooth operation of the function, meeting expected SLA and KPIs whilst ensuring protection of the Three Business Brand, customer promise and commercial outcomes.

This role will be accountable for the day-to-day delivery sales performance and metrics and will have a focus on continuous improvement to evolve the business sales strategy. The role is also key in leading the team through significant transformational change whilst providing direction for Team Leaders/Moderators and encouraging a coaching and career development culture are vital to this position.

The Senior Sales Manager will also manage the recruitment and leadership of a team of Telesales Team Leaders & executives, overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of your salespeople.

This position may require travel between the Reading and Glasgow offices.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Meeting planned sales goals.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinating with Sales Enablement on lead generation.
  • Maximising sales performance and potential of the Telesales channel
  • Identifying KPI variances and developing action plans for improvement
  • Identifying, generation and highlighting further sales leads & opportunities for sales and process improvements
  • Embedding the launch of new propositions & supporting trading priorities
  • Supervise the activities performed by the Business Sales Team Leaders management team
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on sales performance
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance, efficiency and customer experience
  • Lead the team through significant change, calling out risks and ensuring training and development needs are met
  • Work together with other departments as well, such as commercial, marketing, sales enablement and channel, to coordinate efforts to achieve the best results.

Qualifications

What you'll ideally bring...

  • Experience of leading & directing a team to deliver sales targets, key metrics and efficiencies within a fast-paced environment within a limited timeframe
  • Pipeline & lead generation management
  • Demonstrable ability in executing a well-defined Sales and Engagement model to ensure all of their teams understand the performance of our business and also that they understand the needs of their teams

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
