Company Description

An exciting opportunity for a Fraud Associate Performance Analyst to work within our Fraud Risk team within Three UK, The role will support our fraud strategy in response to current and emerging fraud threats. This is a really exciting opportunity to drive change at both an industry and business level. You will play a key support to our fraud strategy in response to current and emerging fraud threats. Your role encompasses all aspects of Customer, Technical & Internal Fraud risks, including Systems and Analytical capabilities used to combat them. Your approach will be dynamic, customer-focused, and aligned to the commercial goals of the business, which will require you to support and challenge key stakeholders, and proactively foster a culture of anti-fraud within Three.

A key element of the role will be to drive operational & optimisation improvements to reduce fraud and you will be responsible for utilising a variety of data sources and analytic techniques to identify and investigate fraud-related activities driving performance improvements and sharing insight back with senior management. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a dynamic and flexible individual that embraces being part of a collaborative team. We’re looking for people who will constantly question and look for opportunities to improve. A self-motivated individual who is capable of achieving a high standard of accuracy and achieving deadlines.


Job Description

The analytics team`s key objective is to provide timely and accurate insight to drive change across the operations. Working with different key stakeholders across the business, the analysts will provide reports and insight to support continuous improvement and support the creation of sophisticated predictive models that enable Three to maximise profitability in line with business objectives.

Technical Skills
Working with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop financial and economic models for planning and monitoring purposes.

Reporting
Create relevant, lucid and effective reports.

Analytical Processes
Support research schedules using appropriate analytical processes and procedures.

Computer skills
Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed. Support colleagues with data mining and writing computer codes.

Policy and Regulation
 Interpret and apply knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in area of expertise.

Costing and Budgeting
Perform costing, budgeting and finance tasks

Data Collection and analysis
Analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.

Data Management
Acquire, organize, protect and process data to fulfill business objectives.

Planning and Organizing
Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.

Policy and procedures
Develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.


Qualifications

• Studying towards a professional qualification.
• Experience of interfacing with commercial teams.
• Report writing and presenting to a senior management audience.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate in a demand led, rapid change environment.

  • Salary range for this role start's at £27,760, and exact salary will differ by job and experience

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
