Location: Newbury HQ + *Hybrid working 

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon – Fri

Job Description

The Enterprise Digital Growth Lead is the digital growth lead across the SME, Large Business, Public Sector and Indirect customer segments, using insight, optimisation and cross-functional collaboration to own engagement, conversion and lead generation across digital platforms.

The role will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Business Digital to shape segment and commercial priorities across digital journeys. It will play a strategic role in go-to-market activity, proposition development, campaigns, and trading plans, ensuring digital experience considerations are embedded from the outset, performance is measured effectively, and business objectives are translated into coordinated execution. The role will also help shape connected digital journeys that support email nurture and marketing automation, improving how customers and prospects progress through relevant, personalised experiences across channels and touchpoints.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder management, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to drive outcomes through influence. The role will own the interpretation of weekly and monthly performance insights, identifying customer pain points, performance gaps, trading risks, and growth opportunities and act as the connector to translate into clear strategic priorities and high-quality briefs that enhance the customer experience and deliver stronger commercial outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Digital Growth Strategy: Define and evolve the digital growth strategy for Enterprise customer segments, ensuring strong alignment with commercial priorities and measurable business outcomes. Translate business targets into clear, integrated digital performance plans spanning demand generation, conversion, sales growth, and customer experience. Identify and prioritise opportunities to strengthen digital channel performance, accelerate growth, and increase the digital channel’s contribution to overall commercial results.
  • Segment Digital Performance Leadership: Lead the assessment of digital performance across core commercial and customer measures, including engagement, lead generation, conversion, sales contribution, lead quality, assisted sales influence, and end-to-end journey effectiveness. Use performance insight to shape priorities, challenge underperformance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Commercial and Trading Alignment: Represent Business Digital in senior commercial, trading, and go-to-market forums for Enterprise segments. Provide a clear view of performance, emerging risks, growth opportunities, and recommended interventions, ensuring digital priorities are reflected in wider commercial decision-making.
  • Email Nurture and Marketing Automation Support: Support the Commercial team create digital journeys required for email nurture campaigns and marketing automation, helping ensure customers and prospects move through relevant, connected experiences across digital touchpoints.
  • Insight-Led Opportunity Identification: Work closely with analytics, insight and optimisation specialists to identify customer behaviour trends, channel performance issues, journey friction and growth opportunities.
  • Digital Sales Briefing: Translate commercial priorities and performance insight into clear briefs for Digital Sales and Product Owners, ensuring changes are focused on improving both customer experience and commercial performance.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Build strong working relationships across Commercial, Product, Marketing and Sales to drive joined-up digital experiences for Enterprise business segments.
  • Performance Governance and Reporting: Own the weekly and monthly performance narrative for Enterprise segments, including trading packs, senior stakeholder updates, and clear recommendations for action. Ensure reporting provides a concise view of performance, accountability, risks, opportunities, and required decisions.

 


Qualifications

Who you are

  • Strong understanding of digital performance management across complex B2B customer journeys, including engagement, lead generation, conversion, assisted sales and sales contribution to commercial outcomes across web, apps and portals.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to influence Enterprise business priorities, trading performance, proposition activity, sales channels and growth objectives.
  • Significant experience working across go-to-market activity, including launches, campaigns, proposition roll-outs, trading plans and digital readiness.
  • Highly proficient using data, insight and performance trends to identify risks, opportunities, customer pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys across acquisition, retention, lead capture, assisted sales, email nurture and marketing automation journeys.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Marketing, Sales and Digital.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex performance insight into clear actions, briefs and recommendations.
  • Digital/marketing experience of the Enterprise customer segments, competitor activity and the wider business telecoms market, including how business customers research, compare and buy products and services.
