Market Research Specialist

The Market Research Specialist (also know as an Insights Specialist) will be focused on improving Three`s consumer and customer insight, working with stakeholders to identify where primary research can add value. Working with the Research Manager, they will scope and commission adhoc research projects to deliver relevant, clear and actionable insights, building our understanding of changing consumer and customer needs and behaviour to support our commercial strategy.

•    Applying a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques across the Three and SMARTY brands, including:
•    Products and proposition research – from early-stage concept testing and optimisation through to detailed testing, positioning, and validation
•    Analysing consumer trends and their implications for our brands over the medium and longer term
•    Pricing & Tariff research – architecture and composition as well as price point optimisation
•    Segmentation and Target audience profiling
•    Day-to-day running of these projects (agency management, data analysis, reporting and presenting)
•    Synthesis of multiple research studies, pulling differing insights together into bigger strategic analysis.
•    Communicating and embedding this insight across the commercial teams
•    Ensuring consumers are at the forefront at Three’s decision making
•    Close collaboration on projects across members in our team

•    Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
•    Strong presentation skills – ability to articulate the story
•    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
•    Strong analytical capabilities – working with data sets to uncover a story

Salary range for this role start's at £37,200 and exact salary will differ by job and experience

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
