The Digital team is accountable, not only for our digital product, performance and experiences but also informing, influencing and driving the wider business to become a truly digital company that is a benchmark for our industry and beyond.
Three has long been an innovator and disruptor within the industry and that’s an area we will continue to drive. We are on a journey and the next 2-3 years will be an exhilarating ride while we roll-out the UK’s fastest 5G network, implement our new technology and launch our new journeys while at the same time bring some very exciting products to market. Using the Adobe suite and analytics tools, you will drive change by providing analysis, recommendations and reporting on performance and customer behaviour to drive trading and development changes to our digital channels. You will engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and support on answering ad-hoc queries as well as providing self-generated insights.
The Commercial Performance Analyst within Digital is essential to enabling the Sales teams to drive revenue at scale efficiently and strategically
What you’ll be doing…
- Undertake website / app and customer analysis to evaluate success and deliver actionable insights to drive trading performance.
- Support and connect with the trading team with ad hoc queries to support analysis, forecasting and commercial trading performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales growth, cost reduction and experience enhancements that are accretive to the Digital team's roadmap.
- Determine most important KPIs to track aligned to commercial objectives.
- Translate data into visualisations, metrics, and goals.
- Demonstrate compelling storytelling; an ability to tell a complex narrative clearly to influence the audience to act on it.
- Collaborate with the Digital Implementation team and product teams to create, manage, and enforce digital analytics tagging standards to ensure robust and consistent data is captured for analysis.
- Agile ways of working to be able to prioritise multiple requests across several areas.
- Ensure there is a thorough understanding of all digital sales journeys and offer recommendations on how to improve, measure and track.
What you'll ideally bring...
- Strong quantitative analytical skills, critical thinker with a customer-centric approach with experience in web/app analytics, such as Adobe Analytics.
- Effective communication, influencing and presentation skills.
- Experience in UX analytics tools, e.g. Decibel, Content Square, Clicktale,
- Experience in ecommerce in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, preferably Tableau.
What you'll receive in return…
- Salary range for this role starts at £59,120, and exact salary will differ by job and experience

- Hybrid working between your home (2-3 days a week) and our Reading HQ office at Green Park (2-3 days a week)

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.
Excluding retail, our core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
