Senior Motion Designer

You’ll be part of something special, part of our in-house creative team at Three, delivering category-leading work across a large cross-section of mediums and platforms.
We are looking for a candidate with an exceptional AE skillset, a proven track record of creating visually stunning motion graphics that captivate audiences and enhance brand presence, and a solid understanding of material design animation principles. Experience with bringing UI interactions to life is a plus, 3D/C4D is a nice to have but not a must.

•    Develop and execute creative animation projects, delivering engaging and effective content across all channels and campaigns
•    Collaborate with account, creative, and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality completion of animation from brief to delivery. 
•    Help refine and define animation and motion design for the Three brand across social, media and in-store channels
•    Contribute to storyboards and mood references to visualize concepts and gather client feedback
•    Stay updated on animation trends and techniques, integrating them into the team's workflow. 
•    Produce tonally correct and visually suitable animations for various mediums, including social formats, media, banners, and retail AV
•    Understand and tackle complex visual briefs, considering brand context and guidelines
•    Act as a reference point for animation projects, maintaining constructive communication with stakeholders
•    Take a leadership role in optimizing animation output for efficiency and continuity in large-scale delivery
•    Challenge conventional thinking to deliver innovative and effective solutions for the brand.
•    Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture with open communication, transparency, and accountability
•    Assist in the hiring process of new animators, evaluating resumes and portfolios, conducting interviews, and providing input on selection 

•    We are looking for a Senior-level applicant with extensive experience in motion graphics.
•    Proficient in AE, premiere, and relevant creative suite programs, with a passion for transitions and elegant graphical movement
•    C4D / 3D is a plus, but not essential
•    UI animation is a plus, but not essential
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills

• The salary range for this role starts at £53,760, the exact salary will differ by job and experience

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
