We’re creating more than the UK’s best network. We’re helping close the digital divide, empower communities and drive meaningful progress.

We believe that everyone should feel they belong. Whoever you are and whatever your story, there’s space for you here. We’re building a workplace where different perspectives are welcomed, voices are heard, and everyone feels safe to show up as themselves.

You’ll join a team that genuinely cares – about each other, about our customers, and about the future we’re building. From day one, you’ll be welcomed, valued and encouraged to bring your whole self to work.

Why VodafoneThree

Join us and you’ll be at the heart of change. That means building responsibly, investing sustainably and creating opportunities that last.

We’re not just expanding connectivity; we’re reimagining what a connected nation looks like. With £11bn invested in 5G and digital infrastructure, your work will directly power businesses, services, and communities across the country.

You’ll work on real challenges, with real impact, across every corner of the country. Wherever you join us, whatever your role, you’ll be helping to build a future that works better for everyone.

We move at pace, because what we’re building matters – and we’re learning as we go. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we’re just getting started.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

The Studio Production Specialist is a dual-function role within Generation’s Creative Production function, splitting time between supporting the Print Production Manager on end-to-end print delivery, and contributing to quality assurance and studio workflow support across the wider Creative Production team. On the print side, the role manages print jobs through the production pipeline, handling pre-press checks, supplier liaison, proof approval, and job administration. On the broader Creative Production side, the role supports the quality gate by checking assets against specifications and brand standards, and contributes to studio and workflow administration including job tracking, DAM management, and file organisation. It is a varied, cross-functional role that requires strong attention to detail, a methodical working practice, and the ability to switch confidently between print production and quality or workflow tasks within the same working day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Print Job Management

  • Manage print jobs from artwork handover through to physical delivery, maintaining accuracy and pace across concurrent projects at different stages of the production process.
  • Conduct thorough pre-press checks on all files, ensuring technical specifications, colour profiles, and print-ready requirements are met before supplier submission.
  • Coordinate proof approval workflows, obtaining sign-off at the correct stages and flagging any quality or specification concerns before print runs commence.
  • Create and maintain job bags for all print jobs, ensuring dimensions, cutters, print codes, and relevant assets are clearly documented and accessible for artworkers.

2. Supplier Liaison & Print Quality

  • Liaise directly with print suppliers on job-by-job requirements, providing clear and accurate briefing to ensure work is produced to specification.
  • Apply detailed knowledge of print processes, materials, and supplier workflows to ensure consistent output quality across formats including OOH, direct mail, retail POS, and SIM packs.
  • Escalate supplier performance issues, scheduling risks, and technical problems to the Print Production Manager in a timely manner.
  • Support tender administration, sustainability compliance tracking, and supplier documentation as directed by the Print Production Manager.

3. Quality Assurance Support

  • Support the quality gate across Creative Production by checking assets against technical specifications, brand guidelines, and brief requirements before sign-off and delivery.
  • Carry out structured asset checks across digital and print formats, identifying typographic errors, specification mismatches, legal disclaimer issues, and brand inconsistencies.
  • Document quality check findings clearly and accurately, flagging issues to the relevant lead and tracking resolution through to completion.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA checklists and checking processes, supporting continuous improvement in the agency’s quality standards.

4. Studio & Workflow Administration

  • Support studio and workflow administration across Creative Production, including job tracking, DAM file organisation, and asset management in line with agency standards.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the agency’s DAM, ensuring assets are correctly named, tagged, and archived across active and completed campaigns.
  • Contribute to the accuracy and completeness of job records within the agency’s workflow management system, flagging discrepancies or gaps to the relevant lead.
  • Provide general administrative support across the Creative Production function as directed, helping to maintain the operational infrastructure that keeps the studio running efficiently.

5. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Print Production Manager, Artwork Studio, and QC function, maintaining clear communication across both the print and broader Creative Production workstreams.
  • Collaborate with Account and Project Management and Traffic to maintain accurate scheduling and manage competing deadlines across a varied and concurrent workload.
  • Escalate any scope, quality, or delivery issues promptly and constructively to the relevant lead.

Measures of Success

  • Zero technical errors on submitted print files and accurate job documentation throughout.
  • On-time delivery across concurrent print jobs.
  • Thorough, accurate QA checks with clear documentation of findings and resolutions.
  • Well-maintained DAM and job records that support smooth studio operations.
  • Reliable, flexible contribution across both print production and broader Creative Production workstreams.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

Print Production Knowledge

  • Solid print production experience, ideally in an agency, in-house team, or print management environment.
  • Detailed working knowledge of pre-press processes, file specifications, colour management, and print production workflows.
  • Familiarity with a range of print formats including digital, litho, and large-format.

Quality Assurance

  • Experience in an asset checking, quality control, or production administration role, or a demonstrable track record of high-accuracy output in a production environment.
  • Methodical, structured approach to checking work, with the ability to identify errors across technical specifications, brand compliance, typography, and legal copy.
  • Comfortable working to defined QA processes and contributing to their ongoing improvement.

Studio & Workflow Administration

  • Familiarity with agency workflow, job tracking, and DAM systems, or the ability to learn these quickly and apply them accurately.
  • Organised working practice with strong file management habits and a methodical approach to administrative tasks.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for file assessment; working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience working with cutters, print codes, and technical specification documentation.

Working Practice

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied, concurrent workload across print production and quality or workflow tasks without loss of accuracy.
  • Clear and constructive communicator with suppliers, creative teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to switch confidently between different types of work within the same working day.
