Company Description

At Three UK, we’re seeking a Senior Government Design Authority to drive our commitment to innovation, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. As a key player, you’ll ensure that our capabilities align with the Investigatory Powers Act (IPA) while effectively communicating with external stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in advocating for IPA requirements, identifying risks, and meeting government obligations. Job Description

•    To advise on the provision of disclosure services in relation to the Investigatory Powers Act and other applicable legislation to ensure ongoing compliance and within required timescales.  
•    Ensuring compliance with the security requirements in relation to the Investigatory Powers Act 
•    Advising on the shaping of the strategic direction of the Department to ensure that any changes in company, industry or legislative requirements are met.  
•    Promote and identify innovative solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders with a particular emphasis on value for money. 
•    Promote and represent the interests of the company in meetings with industry, law enforcement and Government in the UK. 
•    Working closely with internal colleagues to ensure that the service provided by Three UK in relation to disclosure of communications is compliant with Three UK Security standards and other regulatory requirements such as DPA and GDPR.  •    Ensuring no single point of failure with regard to Three UK’s ability to react to project requirements, providing consistency and reducing the reliance on contractor services.  


Qualifications

•    Sound understanding and knowledge of Investigatory Powers Act 2016 and relevant data protection legislation
•    Possess a sound network of contacts both internally and externally relating to IPA and hold a trusted status among the stakeholder community
•    Excellent knowledge of mobile telecommunications and a comprehensive knowledge of Three UK’s systems and processes as well as the specialized and bespoke systems operating within the IDU
•    Educated to degree level or equivalent 
•    Excellent level of numeracy and literacy to maintain highest levels of accuracy 
•    Proven ability to communicate at all levels
•    Five years’ continuous residency in the UK
•    UK/European/Commonwealth citizenship required to vetting criteria


Additional information:

  • The salary range for this role starts at £57,200 the exact salary will differ by job and experience
  • A performance based annual bonus & company car cash allowance, an additional 'flexible allowance' to spend on additional benefits, topping up your pension, or to be added to your salary
  • Hybrid working between your home (2-3 days a week) and our brand new Reading HQ office at Green Park (2-3 days a week)

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, our core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
